Now for a bit of Q&A:

Q:    What is your play food made out of?

A:    All of My House Boutique's play food is made out of 100% synthetic felt, so children with wool allergies can enjoy some "Felt Play Food Fun!"  It is filled with polyester fiber fil.

Q:    How large are your play food pieces?

A:    As a mother and designer, I designed each toy for your piece of mind; every "Felt Play Food Fun!" part is larger than 2 inches in diameter--folded and unfolded.  (The Consumer Product Safety Commission requires toys to be larger than 1.75 inches in diameter for children under three.)

Q:    Can I wash the play food?

A:    Yes!  Hand wash any piece that has been soiled with a mild detergent or dishwashing soap.  Wring dry, remold as needed and lay flat to dry. 

Q:    Can I make copies of sewing patterns/ toys and resell them, or give them as gifts?

A:    I'm flattered, but please don't.  There are many play food interpretations out there and I've worked hard to maintain the integrity of their intellectual property by creating my own unique and original designs.

If you make a play food plate from My House Boutique's sewing pattern and your friend loves it, send them to my site!  I make a point to price the patterns low so that everyone can have an opportunity to enjoy the art of fabric play food.  

Q:  What payment methods do you accept?

A:    Rest assured, you will shop securely through PayPal, an SSL certified online merchant.  Once you choose your products to purchase, you will be directed to PayPal's checkout, where you can pay with a variety of payment methods.

A:    Once you purchase your PDF sewing pattern, you will receive an instant download!

Q:    What other products do you sell?

A:    In October, I started the first batch of "Nica's Friends!"  They are hand-dyed dolls that are ethnic and multicultural to look just like your unique child!  You can see an example of the first batch on my blog here.  I am in the works to create a more sophisticated design to become your child's new best friend!

Q:    What is your return policy?

A:    If for any reason you are not satisfied with your product, you can return it to the address below within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.  PDF sewing patterns cannot be returned as it is a downloadable product.
